Persons with disabilities always pose a challenge to those who are working for the development of peoples. Their rate of rehabilitation depends on the different factors within their communities and their families. The physical factor, psychological factor, social and financial factors come into play.
Though there are plenty of opportunities being offered to the persons with disabilities, there are still those who are experiencing being left out of the mainstream of the society. Hence going to remote villages offers wider opportunities for these persons with disabilities. The continuous reaching out of the community based rehabilitation program presents to them a good chance to rise above their misfortunes and be hopeful of the promise of the future. Being restored to their optimum wellness brings about NEW LIFE and for some their calls for celebration.
The different activities undertaken by the CBR program opens room for advancement for those who are courageous enough to begin a new life full of promises.
