The Child and Youth Development Program was started since the opening of the Mary’s Help Center in 1995. The 96 children and youth who are the beneficiaries of this program come from 4 villages of Chaiyaphum province: Nongbuakhok, Nongsano, Phongnakhon and Khokai.
ACTIVITIES:
Meeting with parents before the opening of the classes
Home visitation/ follow up of students especially when they do not attend group meetings
School materials, food allowances were distributed to the students before the opening of classes
Summer Activities: Summer Camp for the Youth in Nakhon Ratchasima and Summer Catechetical Program in Chaiyaphum
Camping for all the beneficiaries during semestral break
Participated in the Vincentian Youth Encounter in Khon Kaen
Children were encouraged to save money for the next school year from whatever little amount they have.
