Activities:

• Children’s choir.  There are 35 members who joined the children’s choir. 
  • They sing during the children’s mass sponsored by the Center every third Sunday of the month.
  • Lenten recollection for children
  • Through the children’s choir, the children become more confident to stand in front of the people; spontaneous and creative; friendly to one another; and their talents are enhanced

• SSVP Reach-Out is an arm of the center for the mission of the Church.  SSVP members are able to share their Vincentian charism of service of the persons who are poor to the Church.  Some signified their desire to join the Catholic Youth Group.
  • Home visitation facilitates the services of the Church for the sick and poor people in the community where they coordinate with the Church leaders in-charge of the sick
  • Help to prepare and facilitate activities for children in the Church.

• Catechism:
  •  In Tahen, catechism focuses on the development and training of new catechists.  Six (6) of the youth who just received the sacrament of confirmation volunteered to be catechists.  Regular formation meeting is held twice a month.
  • In Battambang, our staffs are Catechists.  Creative ideas and teaching materials for catechism were provided to the catechists.
    

• Staff Development for Lay Missionary Leadership
  • One of the goals of the staff development program of the Center is to develop young lay leaders of the Church.  SVP Center is the ground for this training.
  • All the staffs are given responsibilities in order that they can participate in the missionary activities of the Church, either as catechists, liturgy group members, youth leaders or choir leaders.
  • Many of them are active and committed in the service of the Church.
