THE CATHOLIC CHURCH OF LAOS has 35,000 – 40,000 Catholics in 4 Apostolic Vicariates. It has 10 priests (1 retired), 3 bishops, 1 Apostolic Administrator and 118 Religious women from 5 Congregations.

Under the present regime, the Church reduced to very limited personnel, deprived almost all of their possessions, and lack of religious freedom.
